Last Friday (4/28/17), I had the pleasure of attending an event at Blind Whino (http://www.blindwhino.org/). The DC Fashion Foundation held the DCFI New/ Next Fashion Showcase. I was excited to attend this year. I missed last year (the first year), but gladly attended the second year. The designers in residence at Macy’s Metro Center presented their Fall 2017 Collection. There was fashion EVERYWHERE, to say the least. Proceeds from the New/ Next Showcase support two DCFF programs: The DC Fashion Incubator (DCFI) at Macy’s Metro Center and the DCFI Public Program, Made in the District.
