Queenin’ Queen

I just had a birthday in March, this was the first time in a long time I didn’t venture out. I wanted to stay in with my new baby girl Josie. The night was full of laughter, libations, food and games. Staying in the house, I wanted to dress up my look a little (I mean it WAS my birthday, why not). I was inspired by makeup looks on Instagram with face embellishments. Before Josie was born, I did something similar at the Push Party. Check out both looks below.

The idea of adorning my head and/ or face is one I love. Last year, I went to my cousins wedding which was an all grey theme. I received many compliments wearing it!

In May, 2017 I styled someone for a Mother Nature theme for a pop up shop party. I was invited to the event as well! For the theme, I adorned my head with beautiful flowers to make a crown. Check out some of the looks below (I love any gatherings with a theme, I blogged about this look in Theme Supreme).

Last fall, before Josie’s Push Party, my husband and I took some maternity pics. I did two looks and wore headpieces in each one. The veil headpiece is my actual veil I wore coming down the aisle in our wedding. The grey metal hardware headpiece is another gem I found on Amazon. Check out the looks below, the pics came out better than I could imagine!

Do you have a “Style Jones” to wear a headpiece or face embelishments? What are some you’ve worn? Please share.

Celebs have been wearing headpieces also, check it out!
