Blushing in Sweats

Last Sunday, I attended a bridal shower. It’s always a blessing to see a couple preparing for the next level of their relationship.

The hosts for the bridal shower requested guests to wear pink. Of course I followed the rules… in my own way. Usually on a Sunday, I’m more laid back. Considering I had to work the following day, I wanted to make sure to enjoy my lazy Sunday so I wore sweatpants. OH… but not just any sweatpants, they look so luxurious and they feel even better.

Pants (blush, fur): H&M (I randomly found these pants in H&M, Portland, Oregon February 2017, before the unfortunate monkey sweatshirt incident)

Top (blush floral print, scuba): Ted Baker

Certain events I attend, I automatically think of a brand that may have a perfect piece to wear. This is a perfect example, when I hear “bridal shower” I automatically think of Ted Baker. This brand never fails if you want something ultra feminine. Often, you can spot something made by them and know right away who it is. I chose to wear a Ted Baker sweatshirt, yes… sweatshirt. When I saw it a few years ago, I HAD to have it. It was so different from any other Ted Baker pieces I’ve seen. First, it’s a sweatshirt (I rarely see sweatshirts by this brand). Second, it’s scuba material which gives the shirt more form (an edge). Third, it has a floral print I love (and it’s rare I find floral prints I love).

Lastly, the shoes! I always get compliments when I wear them. Get the details on them from one of my previous posts, Fuzzy Silky Feel or Vanilla Birthday Cake.

Check out what I decided to wear. Do you have a “Style Jones” for anything in this look? Please share.
